Drama – A level

Drama is a very lively course which incorporates the practical study of set texts from all eras of theatre as well as investigating the theory and practice of acting, directing and staging live theatre. It offers you the chance to devise your own productions and to analyse and review performances you have seen on trips. You will also look at the theory and practice of key theatre practitioners who have had a significant influence on the modern stage as we know it, such as Stanislavski, Artaud and Brecht. The course is assessed by written exams and practical performances.
