Personal development is a way for people to assess their skills and qualities, consider their aims and set goals in order to realise and maximise their full potential. On this course you will learn about yourself and be able to develop strategies and set achievable goals in life.

It will empower you to make relevant, positive and effective life choices and decisions leading to a more fulfilling life.
Course structure and content
At the beginning of the course you will complete initial assessments in literacy and numeracy to determine your current level. These will simply identify areas of strength and areas requiring improvement and will assist the Tutor in meeting your learning needs.
With the support and encouragement of your Tutor you will take part in a range of class activities and complete tasks. You will develop skills, confidence, self awareness and assertiveness.
How will I be assessed?
The Level 1 Certificate in Personal Development is internally assessed. With the support of your tutor you will complete tasks and prepare a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate you knowledge and understanding.
Attendance is 2-hours a week for 16 weeks. You will also be expected to complete work in between sessions.
