Alliance Psychological Services
If you are struggling with mental health issues you can access therapy services through college. This is a service that college pays for and it is easy to access.
Students wishing to access therapy through Prior Pursglove College do so by filling in the Alliance Post 16 Referral form and emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org. June Feather manages the therapy service at college. Referrals will be sent on to either Alliance or our in-college therapist, Adele. While waiting times vary a little, one of the services will be in touch with you within a few weeks, if you do not have any contact from them within 3 weeks, please email June. There are a range of therapy options available and at the start it is possible to transfer between services if you feel that what is being offered to you is not the therapy route you need. Currently due to the restrictions most therapy is happening remotely although it may be possible for a very small number of students to be seen in college face to face.
If you would prefer to access therapy outside of college then you can make a self-referral into Alliance adult services via telephone on 01642 352747 option 1 or email Alliance at CYPFamilies@alliancepsychology.com, appointments will not take place through college.
Whichever route you access no staff member at the college will be given any information about you without your explicit consent. If you need any help with the form or have any other questions please email June Feather.
