Welcome to Access to Higher Education at Prior Pursglove College. Here, you will find all the information you need to know about our Access to Higher Education provision and more importantly which diploma you should study.

We have been offering Access to Higher Education Diplomas at Prior Pursglove College since 2016 and have seen some tremendous achievements from our learners during this time.  With 100% of all learners that complete the course being offered a place at university.

Access to Higher Education Diplomas is one of the most popular entry routes into university for mature students.  An Access to Higher Education Diploma will provide you with all of the skills you need to not only gain entry to University but to successfully complete your degree.

University applications are made via external agency UCAS.  While the thought of your UCAS application may seem a daunting task, there is no need to worry about this if you choose to study at Prior Pursglove. We have a dedicated tutor that is on hand to assist and advise on the whole UCAS application process and a number of online UCAS application resources available via our VLE.  By adhering to proving you with one point of contact for all of your UCAS needs you can rest assured that will receive the consistency you need to submit the best application.

Each 60 credit diploma is complied of 45 graded and 15 ungraded credits.  This will teach you research and study skills, ICT of Access, Harvard Referencing and much more.

Different degree programmes require different Access to Higher Education Diplomas. Prior Pursglove College offers the Access to Higher Education Level 3 Diploma in Educational Studies and this can lead to a number of different career paths including Social Work, SEND Practitioner, Children & Early Years Practitioner, Cognitive Behaviour Therapist and many more.
