While there are no formal entry requirements for enrolling on Access to Higher Education diplomas, learners should be able to demonstrate that they are able to work at level 3 and have relevant qualifications in English and Mathematics.
These include:
- GCSE Mathematics and English at 4 or C and Above
- Functional Skills Mathematics and English Level 2
If you do not have either of these qualifications at enrolment you will be required to enrol on Functional Skills Mathematics and English. You will be expected to achieve the qualification before you finish your Access to Higher Education Diploma.
All Higher Education Institutions ask you to have Mathematics and English qualifications as a basic entry requirement. If you do not have the relevant qualifications for your chosen course of study it may effect your enrolment on the provision.
