Faculty Secretary, 20 hours per week, term time only, fixed term contract to 31st August 2021

At the Prior Pursglove College site in Guisborough, we are seeking to appoint a Faculty Secretary to join an established team in providing a high standard of secretarial, administrative and clerical support across the college.

This is a flexible role within the Resources and Administration team.  It will be predominantly based within the main office, but on occasions you will be expected to carry out work in other areas of the team within your capabilities, such as covering customer facing roles in the Resource Centre or on main reception, assisting with College events such as Open Evenings and Parents Evenings or providing assistance to the Exams Team during exam periods.

Please note that this is a job share role, with the current post holder working each afternoon. The main hours of working will therefore be Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, although a flexible approach to scheduling work time is desirable as some occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

Salary:                                     SFCA Support Staff Pay Spine, Points 18-21 (£17,100-£18,125 pro rata)

Actual starting salary £8,032.50 per annum.

Trustee (Finance Sector)

Tees Valley Collaborative are seeking to appoint a Trustee from the Finance sector to our Multi-Academy Trust Board as we enter an exciting stage in our development.

The ideal candidate will be a chartered accountant with experience and a proven track record at a senior level.  Experience of governance and/or strategic planning would be an advantage, as would experience of audit processes.

Our Trust Board meets five times per year in meetings which start at 5.30pm and typically last two hours, taking place in Guisborough or Stockton.

Our Trust is eighteen months old and is in an interesting growth stage where financial expertise is of great importance to provide challenge and support to the CEO and CFO.

Teaching Staff – Casual Contracts

We are looking for teachers to join our pool of casual staff at the Prior Pursglove site to teach across a range of subjects, primarily for our post 19 Adult Provision.  This will include evening and outreach work.  Subjects to be covered include; Early Years, Health and Social Care, Assessors Award, Business Administration, IAG.

Some subjects are delivered via distance learning, so experience in this type of delivery will be useful.

Salary will be paid as an hourly rate, plus holiday pay, based on the relevant point of the SFCA Teachers’ Pay Range.

Teaching Staff (Casual Contracts) – Additional Information

Exam Invigilators, casual contracts

We are looking for people to join our team of Exam Invigilators in providing assistance in the day-to-day operation and administration of exams at either the Prior Pursglove or Stockton campus.  This is seasonal work, with the majority of exams taking place during May and June each year.
